CWOP Quality Checked

Member CW8863 of the Citizen Weather Observer Program (CWOP). The positioning and calibration of the weather station sensors has been carefully considered
to maximize accuracy of the readings. We use CWOP to help make sure our data is accurate.The following is data reported to CWOP for Cedar Hills Weather Station (C8863 in blue) with the predicted data based on surrounding stations (C8863 Analysis in red). Also included is the reported data for the NavCanada Flight Service Station at Vancouver International Airport (CYVR in purple). YVR is the weather most often quoted by news and internet sources for the Greater Vancouver area.
It is 22.88 km West of, and 78 meters below Cedar Hills Weather Station. We have also included if reported data from NavCanada Flight Service Station at Abbottsford International Airport (CYXX in cyan). YXX is 38.77 km East of, and 9 meters below Cedar Hills Weather Station.
